Marriage is hard work

Marriage takes a lot of work from both parties. It is not "magical" and "happily ever after" like the movies that we watch. There are a lot of adjustments, bickering, petty quarrels.. and both people involved really have to work together to make the marriage last. Although a relationship is just between 2 individuals, it helps when there are people around you who give you that nudge towards the right direction. It may be family, in laws, a pastor or priest, and in some cases, marriage counselors. Going to marriage counseling doesn't necessarily mean that it's the worst case scenario and there is something wrong with one of both parties involved. In fact, marriage counseling is a means of strengthening that tie between couples, and can help both see a different point of view when misunderstanding and lack of communication takes place. One of my friends have attended a Denver Marriage Counseling session and it did wonders for her relationship with her husband.
